Ingredients
  • 10 1/2 tbsps baking powder .
  • 7 1/2 tsps salt .
  • 9 c shortening .
  • 36 eggs .
  • 9 c self-rising flour .
  • 9 c self-rising cornmeal .
  • 4 1/2 c dry milk .
  • 9 c water .
  • 9 tbsps sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 425°.
  • Step #2 In a large bowl cut in 3/4 c vegetable shortening with the cornbread mix & until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Step #3 Add 3 lightly beaten eggs & 1 c of water.
  • Step #4 Mix well.
  • Step #5 Bake in a commercial baking pan greased for 15 – 20 mins, or until a tooth pick inserted into the center comes out clean.
