Raspberry Chocolate Puff Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (12 oz) package frozen unsweetened raspberries, thawed .
  • extra vanilla (optional) .
  • fresh raspberries (optional) .
  • 1 (17 oz) package frozen puff pastry, thawed .
  • confectioners' sugar (optional) .
  • 1 c confectioners' sugar .
  • 1 c raspberry chocolate chips or milk chocolate chips .
  • raspberry chocolate chips (optional) .
  • 1 c sliced pecans

Directions
  • Step #1 In a bowl, mix the chips & pecans.
  • Step #2 On a lightly floured surface, roll each pastry sheet into a 12-in.
  • Step #3 square.
  • Step #4 Cut in half lengthwise & widthwise, making eight 6-in.
  • Step #5 squares.
  • Step #6 Spoon the chip mixture in the center of each square.
  • Step #7 Pull all corners together below the tips of the corners, forming a pouch.
  • Step #8 fold the corner tips down.
  • Step #9 Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
  • Step #10 Bake at 425° for 18-20 mins or until golden brown.
  • Step #11 Remove to a wire rack to cool.
  • Step #12 In a food processor/blender or mixer, puree raspberries & confectioners' sugar.
  • Step #13 Strain & discard seeds.
  • Step #14 Spoon raspberry sauce onto dessert plates; top this with pastry pouches.
  • Step #15 If desired, garnish with raspberries & chips; dust with confectioners' sugar.
