Simple Fried Rice Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tbsp soy sauce .
  • 1 dash garlic powder .
  • 1 dash powdered ginger .
  • 1/4 onion, sliced .
  • 1 c uncooked rice, white enriched .
  • 1 egg .
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter

Directions
  • Step #1 Cook your rice however you choose.
  • Step #2 Put it in a container & let it sit in the refrigerator for a day or two (old rice just works better).
  • Step #3 Use just a little bit of butter & scramble your egg make sure break it up into small pieces.
  • Step #4 Set the egg aside for a min.
  • Step #5 Put half of the butter in the pan & saute the sliced onions.
  • Step #6 Now add the rice, the scrambled egg, to the pan & put in the rest of the butter.
  • Step #7 Add soy sauce now, use just enough to taste & colour.
  • Step #8 I don't think I even use.
  • Step #9 5 tbsp as I don't like it too salty.
  • Step #10 Sprinkle top on your ginger & garlic powder.
  • Step #11 Keep stirring & breaking up any chunks of rice that are stuck together.
  • Step #12 Continue heating the rice for about 2 mins.
