- 1 c cornmeal
Directions
- Step #1 Grease 2 quart casserole, set oven to 325F degrees.
- Step #2 Cook corn meal with 2 c of the milk until thickened.
- Step #3 Remove from heat & add salt, butter, baking powder, & 1 c milk.
- Step #4 Add beaten egg yolks.
- Step #5 Fold in stiff-beaten egg whites.
- Step #6 Bake about 1 hr.
- Step #7 Serve in warm dishes & top this with butter.
