Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 tsps baking powder .
  • 1/2 c milk .
  • 3/4 c caster sugar .
  • 2 eggs .
  • 1/4 tsp butter, softened .
  • White Icing .
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla .
  • 1 1/2 c flour .
  • 125 g butter .
  • 2 c icing sugar .
  • candy sprinkles .
  • 2 tbsps water, approx .
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

Directions
  • Step #1 pre heat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  • Step #2 cream butter, essence & sugar until light & fluffy.
  • Step #3 add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Step #4 sift flour & baking powder, fold into creamed mixture, stir in the milk.
  • Step #5 place 12 large paper patty cases in deep muffin tins.
  • Step #6 spoon mixture evenly into paper cases.
  • Step #7 bake for about 16 mins or until cakes spring back when lightly touched.
  • Step #8 transfer to wire rack to cool.
  • Step #9 when cold decorate.
  • Step #10 Icing:.
  • Step #11 sift icing sugar into a bowl, add sufficient water to mix to a spreadable consistency, add butter, flavour with essence.
  • Step #12 pour sprinkles into a bowl.
  • Step #13 ice cakes then dip in sprinkles.
