1 medium whole tomato, finely sliced, seeds removed .
1 (397 g) package puff pastry, defrosted .
2 tbsps soy sauce .
1/2 tsp dried oregano .
2 garlic cloves, smashed .
3/4 lb lean ground beef .
1/4 c fresh mushrooms, finely sliced .
1/4 c ham, finely sliced or 2 slices bacon, crisp fried & crumbled .
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
Directions
Step #1 In a large skillet separate & fry your ground beef until it is cooked but not yet browned.
Step #2 Remove any grease from the skillet , onion, jalapeno pepper, ham or bacon, add the tomato, mushrooms & garlic.
Step #3 Stir fry until the vegetables are cooked.
Step #4 Add the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce & oregano.
Step #5 Continue cooking over low medium heat until the moisture has evaporated (approx 10 mins), Spice up with salt & pepper.
Step #6 Allow to cool.
Step #7 Meanwhile roll out the puff pastry into two 12" squares, cut each square into four 6" pieces.
Step #8 Distribute the meat/vegetable mixture evenly on the center of each puff pastry square (just under 1/2 c per square).
Step #9 Fold one corner over to form a triangle & press the edges well together so they will not separate while baking, cut a small slit on the top of each puff.
Step #10 At this point you may place the stuffed puffs on a cookie sheet & freeze them, when frozen wrap them well & place them in your freezer.
Step #11 When you want to bake them allow them to defrost in your fridge for 2-3 hrs before baking.
Step #12 Continue with the final step.
Step #13 Place the freshly made puffs (or defrosted frozen) on a cookie sheet in the center of a 400F degree preheated oven for approx 20 mins or until they are nicely browned & cooked.
Step #14 Serve warm.
Step #15 You may want to, to serve a sauce on the side catsup, but not necessary, Steak sauce or your favorite sauce, BBQ, Enjoy.
