Instant Squash Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 Carrot; pared, sliced
  • 2 tb Butter
  • 6 Potatoes; pared, cut in bite size pieces
  • 1 tb Parsley flakes
  • 4 Chicken bouillon cubes
  • 2 Onions; sliced
  • 1 Stalk celery; sliced
  • 13 oz Evaporated milk;
  • Pepper
  • 2 Leeks; washed, pared, cut in bite size pieces
  • 1 1/2 ts Salt
  • sliced chives
  • 4 c Water

Directions
  • Step #1 Put all ingredients except milk & chives in crockpot.
  • Step #2 Cook on low 10-12 hrs or high 3-4.
  • Step #3 stir in the milk in last hr.
  • Step #4 Serve topped with chives.
