Aromatic Shellfish Soup Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 c Jasmine rice
  • 1 15 oz can red kidney beans; drained & rinsed
  • 1/2 ts Black pepper
  • Red pepper flakes; to taste
  • 3 c Water
  • 2 c Kale or spinach; packed
  • 1/4 ts Garlic powder
  • 1/2 ts Salt
  • 1/4 c Parsley; sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 mix water, kale or spinach, rice & dried Spice upings in a medium saucepan.
  • Step #2 Bring to simmer over medium-high heat.
  • Step #3 Stir once, cover, & cook over medium-low heat about 15 mins.
  • Step #4 stir in the beans and parsley.
  • Step #5 Fluff rice with fork; turn off heat.
  • Step #6 let this stand for 5-10 mins before serving.
  • Step #7 Makes 4-6 servings, 0.
  • Step #8 2 grams of fat per 1 c serving.
