Ingredients
  • 2 Carrots; up to 4
  • 2 c Red dry wine
  • 2 Bay leafs OR 1 tbsp provencal Spice uping.
  • Water to cover.
  • 2 Leeks; , up to 4
  • 2 Cloves garlic
  • 4 lb Potatoes; small or peeled and cubed.
  • 5 tb Tomato puree
  • 4 1/2 lb Stewing beef cut in 2x2 inch cubes.
  • 1 ts Sugar; up to 2
  • Salt & pepper
  • 2 Onions; up to 3

Directions
  • Step #1 This recipe is for 10-12 people.
  • Step #2 Just make two pots.
  • Step #3 The stew becomes tastier staying on the warm plate.
  • Step #4 It is also colorful & easy to eat, no fuss, no bones, just a fork or spoon.
  • Step #5 In a big pot or pressure cooker mix all ingredients.
  • Step #6 Cook till meat is tender.
  • Step #7 Adjust taste with sugar, salt etc.
