Cheese Stuffed Shells Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c Grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 Container ricotta cheese
  • 1/8 ts Pepper
  • 2 c Prepared spaghetti sauce
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 1/2 ts Oregano
  • 1/4 ts Salt
  • 1/4 c sliced parsley
  • 1/4 c Grated parmesan cheese
  • 20 Jumbo pasta shells
  • 1/3 c Ham; finely chopd

Directions
  • Step #1 Place oven rack in top third of oven.
  • Step #2 Preheat to 400F.
  • Step #3 Cook 20 jumbo shells in large pot in lightly salted water.
  • Step #4 Stir every once in awhile until tender, but firm, 10-12 mins.
  • Step #5 Drain.
  • Step #6 stir this together ricotta cheese, parsley, 1/4 c Parmesan cheese, oregano, 1/3 c finely sliced ham, egg yolk, salt & pepper in medium bowl.
  • Step #7 Spoon 1 1/2 T.
  • Step #8 in each shell.
  • Step #9 Do Not Overfill.
  • Step #10 Spread 1/4 c of spaghetti sauce in 12x9x2" glass baking dish or casserole.
  • Step #11 Arrange shells in single layer.
  • Step #12 top this with rest of sauce.
  • Step #13 Sprinkle top with 1/4 c more Parmesan cheese.
  • Step #14 bake this at 400F f.
  • Step #15 for 15 mins until hot & bubbly.
