Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 Scoop Vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 c Sugar
  • 3/4 c Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 pn Salt
  • 1/4 c Chocolate sauce
  • Cocoa powder
  • Powdered sugar; mixed with
  • 8 oz Semisweet chocolate; cut small pieces
  • 1/2 c Softened butter
  • 1/4 ts Vanilla extract
  • 5 tb Brown sugar
  • 8 oz Toasted macadamia nuts; sliced
  • 1/8 ts Baking soda

Directions
  • Step #1 preheat your trusty oven to 325F degrees.
  • Step #2 Place the butter, & both sugars in a mixer bowl, & cream until well mixed.
  • Step #3 Add the vanilla extract and egg.
  • Step #4 Mix well.
  • Step #5 Sift together the flour, baking soda, & salt.
  • Step #6 Add small amounts of the flour mixture to the butter mixture, & mix well.
  • Step #7 Fold in the chocolate pieces & nuts.
  • Step #8 put in the fridge dough for 1/2 hr.
  • Step #9 Spoon out 1/2 tbsp portions on a parchment lined baking sheet, 1 1/2 inches apart.
  • Step #10 Bake the cookies for 12 to 15 mins, or until golden brown.
  • Step #11 allow this to cool.
  • Step #12 This recipe yields 2 dozen cookies.
  • Step #13 To make an ice cream sandwich, use 1 scoop of ice cream between 2 cookies, drizzle with chocolate sauce & Sprinkle top with the mixture of powdered sugar & cocoa powder.
