Creamed Eggs Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/8 tsp ground white pepper, if desired
  • 2 tbsps butter
  • 2 c milk
  • 6 eggs
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsps all-purpose flour

Directions
  • Step #1 Place egg in a saucepan & cover with cold water.
  • Step #2 Bring water to a boil & as soon as possible remove this from heat.
  • Step #3 Cover & let eggs stand in hot water for 10 to 12 mins.
  • Step #4 Remove from hot water, cool, peel & chop.
  • Step #5 Melt butter in saucepan, add flour until it forms into a ball.
  • Step #6 Slowly add the milk & stir until the sauce comes to a boil.
  • Step #7 Stir the white pepper, salt, black pepper, & sliced eggs into the sauce; stir until the eggs are heated.
  • Step #8 .
