Step #1 SIMPLE SYRUP--- 2 c Sugar, white 1 c Water Simple syrup: mix the sugar & water in a saucepan, & heat until it barely begins to boil.
Step #2 remove this from heat & cool.
Step #3 mix one c of syrup & one c of lime juice in a pitcher.
Step #4 Add enough water to make up a half gallon.
Step #5 Serve over ice.
