Maple Gingersnaps Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c Corn Syrup
  • 1 tb Butter
  • 2 c Maple Syrup
  • 1 c Granulated White Sugar
  • 1 tb Flour
  • 1/2 c Milk or Cream

Directions
  • Step #1 Mix flour & sugar in a saucepan.
  • Step #2 Add maple syrup, corn syrup, and milk.
  • Step #3 Cook over low heat/flame, stirring every once in awhile to soft ball stage.
  • Step #4 (232-236 degrees) remove this from heat & drop butter on top.
  • Step #5 Cool to lukewarm; beat until glossy look begins to leave.
  • Step #6 Pour quickly into buttered pan.
