• 1 ts Baking soda
• 1/2 c Vegetable oil
• 2 1/2 c Grated carrots
• 1/2 ts Salt
• 1 ts Cinnamon powder
• 1/2 c sliced walnuts
• 1 c All purpose flour
• 2 ts Baking powder
• 1 c White sugar

• Step #1 Sift & mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon & salt.
• Step #2 Add the oil & sugar.
• Step #3 Mix well.
• Step #4 stir in the the carrots & walnuts.
• Step #5 Enusre that all is well mixed.
• Step #6 Transfer to a floured & greased cake tin approx.
• Step #7 20 cm X 20 cm.
• Step #8 bake this at 350F for about an hr or until a knife inserted in the centre of the cake comes out clean.
• Step #9 Cool for a few mins on a wire rack.
• Step #10 Turn out & let cool completely.
