• 1/2 c Light corn syrup
• 1 Egg white
• 1 c sliced pecans
• 1/4 ts Salt
• 1/4 ts Vanilla
• 3 c Sugar
• 2/3 c Water

• Step #1 1- In 3 quart glass bowl, microwave sugar, syrup & water on FULL for 12-18 mins or until mixture spins a fine thread.
• Step #2 2- In another bowl add salt to egg whites, beating constantly until whites are stiff & form peaks.
• Step #3 3- Slowly pour a thin stream of syrup mixture into egg whites, beating constantly until mixture loses shine and thickens.
• Step #4 4- stir in the vanilla & nuts.
• Step #5 as soon as possible drop by tspsful on waxed paper.
• Step #6 If cooked too long, thickens quick.
• Step #7 Otherwise sure-fire.
