Ingredients
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1 c Buttermilk
  • 3 c Sifted Flour
  • 2 c Sugar
  • 1 c sliced Nuts
  • 2 ts Butternut Flavoring
  • 1/4 ts Salt
  • 3 Eggs
  • Box Powdered Sugar
  • 2 x Sticks Butter
  • 1 ts Baking Soda
  • Stick Butter
  • 3 ts Butternut Flavoring

Directions
  • Step #1 preheat your trusty oven to 350 degrees Grease & flour three 9-inch cake pans of butter.
  • Step #2 Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Step #3 Mix soda & salt into buttermilk until foamy.
  • Step #4 Add alternately with flour.
  • Step #5 Add 3 tsps flavoring.
  • Step #6 pour this into prepared pans & bake until done, 20 to 25 mins.
  • Step #7 tsps flavoring.
  • Step #8 Add nuts.
  • Step #9 Spread on cooled cake.
