Ingredients
  • 1 c Flour
  • 1/4 c Nut meats
  • 1 ts Baking powder
  • 1 ea Egg
  • 1/4 c Bran
  • 1/4 c Shortening
  • 1/4 ts Salt
  • 1 c Brown sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Cream shortening.
  • Step #2 Add sugar & cream well.
  • Step #3 Add egg & beat.
  • Step #4 Add dry ingredients, nuts & bran.
  • Step #5 Spread in shallow pan, bake about 30 mins, at 350 F.
  • Step #6 Cut into suqares & roll in confectioner's sugar.
