Butterscotch Pudding Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 tb Flour
  • 2 c Milk
  • 1 x Whipped cream
  • 1 c Brown sugar
  • 1/4 c Butter
  • 3 ea Egg, well beaten
  • 1 x pie pastry, baked
  • 1 ts Vanilla
  • 1/4 c Water

Directions
  • Step #1 Cook the sugar & water until it will spin a thread.
  • Step #2 Add butter, beat the eggs & stir in the the flour which has been mixed with 1/2 c of the milk.
  • Step #3 Add balance of the milk & vanilla.
  • Step #4 pour this into the hot syrup & cook this until mixture is thick.
  • Step #5 pour this into a baked pie shell & set aside to cool.
  • Step #6 When ready to serve, cover with whipped cream.
