Carmel Corn Pops Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 ts Salt
  • 1/2 c White corn syrup
  • 2 c Light brown sugar
  • 1 ts Baking soda
  • 1 ts Vanilla
  • 2 Sticks oleo
  • 5 1/2 qt Popped corn

Directions
  • Step #1 In saucepan mix sugar, oleo & white corn syrup.
  • Step #2 Bring to a boil while stirring constantly.
  • Step #3 When it begins to have big bubbles all over, start timing--boil 5 mins.
  • Step #4 remove this from heat & add vanilla, salt & baking soda.
  • Step #5 mix together & pour over popped corn, stirring well.
  • Step #6 place this in 250 degree oven for 40 mins.
  • Step #7 Stir every once in awhile from the bottom--don't burn! Spread on sheets of waxed paper & allow this to cool.
