Pasta & Variations Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 ts Walnut or vegetable oil
  • 8 oz Mostaccioli, uncooked
  • 2 ts Kirsch
  • Salad greens
  • 2 tb Powdered sugar
  • 1/2 c Toasted sliced walnuts
  • 1/2 c Whipping cream
  • 1/3 c Toasted MOUNDSA Coconut
  • 2 c Sliced fresh strawberries divided
  • 1/2 ts Vanilla extract

Directions
  • Step #1 1.
  • Step #2 Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
  • Step #3 Rinse with cold water to cool quickly; drain well.
  • Step #4 2.
  • Step #5 In large bowl, toss cooled pasta with oil; carefully mix in 1-1/2 c strawberries & coconut.
  • Step #6 Set aside.
  • Step #7 3.
  • Step #8 In food processor/blender or mixer, process remaining strawberries and remaining ingredients except greens & walnuts until strawberries are pureed & mixture is slightly thickened.
  • Step #9 Serve on greens.
  • Step #10 Spoon dressing over top; Sprinkle top with toasted walnuts.

  • Step #13 To toast coconut & walnuts: Heat oven to 350 F.
  • Step #14 Spread ingredients in shallow baking pan; bake 8 to 10 mins, stirring every once in awhile, until golden brown.
