Ingredients
  • 1 tb sliced parsley
  • 4 oz Shortcrust pastry
  • 2 oz Choped steaky bacon
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 pt Milk
  • Spice uping
  • Desertspoon full plain flour

Directions
  • Step #1 Cold boiled bacon may be used instead of steaky bacon.
  • Step #2 Line a flan ring or pie dish with the prepared pastry & bake it blind in a hot oven.
  • Step #3 Gas Mark 6 (400F) for 15 mins.
  • Step #4 mix the flour with a little milk.
  • Step #5 Break the eggs into a basin & beat well, add the mixed flour and remaining milk, Spice uping & parsley.
  • Step #6 Put the bacon (lightly fried if you are using steaky) into the pastry case & pour over the egg mixture.
  • Step #7 bake this at Gas Mark 3 (325F) for 30-35 mins.
