Pat's Broccoli Cornbread Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 lb Chicken liver
  • 1/4 ts Nutmeg
  • 1/4 ts Cloves, ground
  • Salt & pepper; to taste
  • Wine, white, dry
  • 1 ds Tabasco sauce
  • 1 md Onion
  • 1/2 lb Butter

Directions
  • Step #1 Put liver in a baking dish & add butter.
  • Step #2 bake this at 350 F.
  • Step #3 until done.
  • Step #4 Cool liver.
  • Step #5 Grind liver & onion.
  • Step #6 Mix liver, butter and onion, nutmeg & cloves.
  • Step #7 You may need to add a bit more melted butter to make it spreadable.
  • Step #8 Add salt & pepper.
  • Step #9 Add wine to the liver, to moisten.
  • Step #10 Add a dash of Tabasco.
  • Step #11 place this in a terrine and allow to chill overnight.
  • Step #12 Garnish & serve.
