Chocolate Crisps Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/3 c confectioners' sugar for decoration
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 1/2 tbsps all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 c white sugar
  • 1/2 (1 oz) square unsweetened chocolate, grated

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat 300F degrees F (150 degrees C).
  • Step #2 Grease cookie sheets.
  • Step #3 In a small saucepan over med-heat/flame, melt butter till lightly browned.
  • Step #4 Pour into medium sized bowl.
  • Step #5 Stir in the egg white, sugar & vanilla.
  • Step #6 Combine the flour cocoa, & salt; mix into the butter mixture.
  • Step #7 Fold in chocolate.
  • Step #8 Drop by tspfuls about 2 inches apart onto cookie sheets.
  • Step #9 Bake for 12 to 15 mins.
  • Step #10 Transfer to rack to cool & dust with confectioners' sugar.
