Coconut Macaroon Pie Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie
  • 1/2 c butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 c flaked coconut
  • 1/2 c sliced pecans
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 c water
  • 1 1/2 c white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 c all-purpose flour

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 325F degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • Step #2 Place pecans in bottom of pie shell.
  • Step #3 Combine melted butter, sugar, salt, water, coconut, flour, & slightly beaten eggs.
  • Step #4 Pour filling over pecans in crust.
  • Step #5 Bake for 45 mins, or until golden brown.
  • Step #6 Cool before serving.
