Chicago Dip Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (10 oz) package frozen sliced spinach, thawed & drained
  • 2 tsps dried parsley
  • 3/4 c sliced green onions
  • 1/2 tsp seasoning salt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 (1 lb) loaf round, crusty Italian bread
  • 1 c mayonnaise
  • 1 c sour cream

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large mixing bowl, sour cream, green onions, mayonnaise, mix spinach, lemon juice, parsley, & salt.
  • Step #2 Mix until well mixed, then put in the fridge.
  • Step #3 Cut a circle out of the top of the bread & scoop out the inside.
  • Step #4 Tear the inside into pieces for dipping.
  • Step #5 Spoon the dip into the center of the bread bowl & serve accompanied by the pieces of bread for dipping.
