Chocolate Upside Down Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/4 c water
  • 1 (18.25 oz) package German chocolate cake mix
  • 1/4 c butter or margarine
  • 1 c sliced pecans
  • 2 c semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c packed brown sugar
  • 1 c flaked coconut
  • 2 c miniature marshmallows

Directions
  • Step #1 In a small saucepan, heat water & butter until butter is melted.
  • Step #2 Stir in brown sugar; mix well.
  • Step #3 Pour into a greased 13-in.
  • Step #4 x 9-in.
  • Step #5 x 2-in.
  • Step #6 baking pan.
  • Step #7 Sprinkle top with coconut, chocolate chips, pecans & marshmallows.
  • Step #8 Prepare cake batter according to package directions; carefully pour over marshmallows.
  • Step #9 Bake at 325F degrees F for 55-60 mins or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
  • Step #10 Cool for 10 mins before inverting cake onto a serving plate.
