If you have an automatic dish washer, I recommend putting the jar of honey on the top rack and running it through a complete cycle. Make sure the lid is on tightly first. This does wonders. The jar gets cleaned and the heat from the wash/dry phases reduce it to a liquid state. I've used this method to reconstitute quart jars of honey.
You can also use hot water bath to bring it back to a consistent state. But but this way takes longer. You bring a large sauce pan of water to a boil, remove it from the heat and put the jar of honey it. Let it sit for about 10 minutes, stir the honey if you can, and let it sit longer. You might need to heat the water up again. Like I said, this method takes time.
I like the dishwasher method method myself.
I will be posting some honey recipes soon.
