Well here's a free website where you can do just that! It doesn't take the place of this site...by no means! It just looks like a great place to store your favorite recipes as a back-up to this site!
I found it on Facebook. You can scan your recipes in or type them. You can also add food photos. If you want to check it out here's the link...

I stopped worrying about losing my recipes.......now I copy and paste them into a word document, put them all in a folder by categories and throw them on a disc. That way I don't have to worry about not having access to a site for whatever the reason may be.
Call me old fashioned but I think it's best to have a hard copy in the form of a CD or DVD. When I add recipes it only takes a second to create a new one for pennies.
That site is a good idea, if you completely trust that you'll always have access to it through site crashes and that sort of thing.

Having all the recipes on a DVD would also be great because then I can pass them down to my daughters someday! I also have all the recipes printed out and stored in a folders, but the folders are bursting at the seams, so I don't know how long that method will work! And at the rate I'm going, I may have to buy a bigger house just so I can store more recipes!
lol... Geranium! Yes, but I want to exact same ones I've been using and love!

Oh, yeah......and so I don't have little pieces of paper stuck in books that are bursting all over the house!
