import recipes + notes section
I have used software for decades to manage recipes, and all of the software no matter the source has the following sections for each recipe:

ingredients (and some have grouped ingredients)

instructions

notes

All of the software can also import and export recipes in several "standard" formats and the most recent piece of software "gourmet recipe manager" from source forge is cross platform (mac, windows, linux) has some very impressive in this arena {for the record I have no stake in GRM I just happen to love it, and can run it on all of my machines with ease}

I would certainyl share more of my own or my collected recipes if I could just browse to a file and send it in one swoop.

MM format imports/exports is freeware and the file format is simple enough to type by hand, it allows grouped ingredients (crust, filling, topping ... stock, pasta, meat ... etc.) and is generally accepted by even commercial software.

Export isn't as important or nice as importing recipes in MM format (or what ever other format works for "everyone")
