Lunch turned out to be PB&J. Had to crack open a jar of the tomato jam to check out my handiwork. It's a softer set than the last batch but still good enough to sell, and oh so very tasty.

So guess what I had in the mail today? SUMMONS FOR JURY DUTY! Never served. I report Dec 2, and have a 6 month term. OMG...the county seat is 20 minutes away, in the opposite direction of work that is 30 minutes away...compensation-wise, I hope I go all day on the days I do have to report, or that's gonna suck. Donna....It's just chicken in gravy with some peas and served over mashed potatoes....So easy considering I got a cooked chicken today...and Les peeled potatoes...he really likes being in the kitchen too...LOL
After the MRI today someone came and spoke with Alisha. Mason has a double Aortic Arch which has formed a ring that is putting pressure on his trachea and/or esophagus. He told her he was 98% sure surgery would be required to fix this. Also his aortic arch is on his right side and should have been on the left. we are waiting on a call from his doctor for more information. Hopefully, we will have more information tomorrow. Please keep Mason and our entire family in your prayers.

Ya'll were in rare form this afternoon. I think all of you are cool. I'm still trying to sort out Fred's room a bit more and clear out the clothes that he can no longer wear. He seems to think he will lose weight and get back down to 140. I'm not so sure, he was pushing 200 and now he is back to 185.
I signed up for mashed for the Thanksgiving potluck. Maybe I need to use your recipe for madeshes....that was funny. I don't know about the rare steak craving. Sometimes you crave the very thing you need most.
LIv is off to see the new Jim Carrey "Christmas Carol" She is a movie fiend.
We did stuffed baked potatoes with broccoli and cheese sauce. Cukes, maters and sour cream. It was good.

We had a good dinner tonight. Broiled some NY strips and fried some potatoes. Not sure what possessed him to pick them up Sunday when we had steak on Saturday, oh well...
