Does anyone have a recipe for dry cake mix? I can't have the wheat that is in the cake mixes that so many yummy recipes call for, and I was wondering if anyone had a recipe for a dry mix that would be a suitable substitute. Thanks!

Here is a web site that will turn you on to various non-wheat flours. Don't know how well they work in a cake mix but it is a start.

I believe there is a group here that deals with non-wheat grains. Can't recall the name right off. You might be able to get a recipe from there, if you can find the group.

I was looking for a cake mix recipe also; not for wheat-free reasons, but because I have a recipe that calls for cake mix that I would like to try making from scratch.

I have heard you can add ingredients to cake mixes, does anyone know about that?
