My grandmother had the "oh yes you do that too" method of explaining her recipies. Like when I asked about her roast chicken and she then gave a rather vague run through during which I asked "wait don't you boil the potatoes first?" What did she reply? "Oh yes you do that too."
That's a rather long way of saying that I'm happy to find recipies from other families here. Thank you Tinki and thank you to everybody who has shared.
