Tomatillo question
Ever since I left California and moved back east I've had a craving, but it's really hard to find good Mexican food here. (When I was a kid I thought all tacos were crispy. Now I know better.)

I'd like to make salsa verde from scratch. I gave it a shot once, but it gave me a tummy ache :(
Is there something speial I have to know about preparing tomatillos? What am I doing wrong?

About Tomatillos
The best way to make the tomatillios for a green sauce is to roast them. You can eat them raw but they taste better cooked. Make sure to husk and washand dry well before roasting. After roasting throw together in blender of food processer with the rest of your salsa ingreadents puree and then throw in a sauce pan for about 10 mins on med low to cook off the raw taste. cool then refigerate..
