Archaic, I know, but is there a recipe to use without the machine. I found a really old recipe but it warns that crystals might form which takes away dfrom the creaminess. Anybody have anything different from that?

Why don't u try it and see how it goes. it ca'nt lose that much cream. I would like to use it for I don't have an ice- cream machine. I don't know where to get one from. So please post it?!

Having tried to make ice cream with out the machine proved to be tedious.
I wasn't about to pay what was asked even in a discount store.
Last week I purchased a relatively new ice cream machine for $10.00 at a thrift store. I am thrilled and am collecting the ingredients I need to make the most creative ice cream I can think of.
