I want to know if I can add beef base to it when canning? That way it is all in there, just open and go from there? Any ideas?

Have you considered raising a calf to get an even better price on beef?

I did not use broth, but it makes so much (in the pressure cooker) itself, I was glad I didn't add any. In a few jars I did add some sliced onion (layered with the meat) and also a bayleaf. Very tasty !!!

Thanks for the tip on layering onions and sing a bayleaf with the meat.
