Missing part of an old familly recipe
My dad's grandmother used to make a potato devil's food cake and did leave behind the recipe. The hard part is no one seemed to get her icing recipe. The family tells me it was a cooked chocolate icing, with coffee, AND it was a hard shell icing similar to the magic shell you have on ice cream. I have scoured the internet for years and haven't found anything similar. Any suggestions?
