Criteria for recipes submissions
As I browse this group I keep seeing recipes that yield anywhere from 4 to 17 servings. What is the criteria for submitting a recipe to the Cooking For One group? Is there a moderator that is supposed to screen recipes to make sure they are appropriate for the group? As a single person it is not feasible for me to make recipes that serve more than 4 and I certainly wouldn't make anything that serves 17. Am I missing something here?

Well, when I was cooking for one, I had two approaches: recipes that made an individual serving, AND recipes that I could make up a big pot of and live on for a few days. Subset of the second would be recipes that I could make in a big batch and then divide and freeze for future use.

Individual servings or food for a few days...
I didn't find this group when I first joined a couple of weeks ago, and so started one of my own, and called it "Cooking for One or Two". In my group, I'm determined to keep the recipes down to just that - servings for ONE or TWO. Surely, anyone who wants a dish to live from for a few days can figure that out from the thousands of fabulous recipes on this site.
