taking the heat out chile
does anyone know what to away the spice after it has been added is it add sugar put a piece of bread i cannot remember any suggestions will be appreciated.

I don't really know. I'm one of these that the hotter it is the better it is.

I should have gone to the suggestion group first. LOL

rml posted the following in response to your post so I copied and pasted it here for you.

1. Mix 1/4 to 1/2 cup of potato flakes in a bowl with 1 can of beef broth. Heat in micro and stir til flakes are no longer grainy. Add to chili
2. Thin some refried beans with beef broth. Run through blender to puree - add to chili.
3. *From a Texan* Add sugar, a little at a time, until the heat is right.
4. 1 can of undiluted tomatoe soup...not sure about this one.
