good morning everyone

good morning Pops, Liezel, and Ahmed.

It's hump day!!!!

its 4:30 pm Tuesday evening here on the east coast of the USA.. and it sounds like we are in for a bad storm tonight into Wednesday... snow, then turning into sleet and freezing rain.. the weather people said heavy icing.. and then tomorrow 1 to 2 inches of rain..
It's just starting to snow here.. my husband leaves for work in a half and hour.. driving into the storm.. hope the roads aren't too bad. he does have 4 wheel drive... but I worry.

If any of you are in the bad weather areas please be careful ... be safe..

Tuesday here too...bad weather as in rain here no snow in South Georgia! Does anyone happen to know what happened to Organicmama? I had several of her recipes bookmarked and really liked but they have all been deleted...

They weren't lying, we got plenty of snow from what I can see, still dark....a little after 5 a.m.......It'sfreezing rain now, I can hear it hitting the windows.

John has to drive to work, he has a Jeep, but I worry to.

Henrie our prayers are still with you and your daughter. will there be news for you today, I hope?

It is 2:30pm now in Cairo,the weather is great and it is a sunny day.Sorry to hear about that bad weather..Hope nothing goes wrong.I checked some of my oldest recipes with a 1 rating...I was really so angry.Sorry to mention such problem but I needed to talk about.Anyway,we are not in a competition and it realy doesn't matter to all of us ,as our main reason here is to share recipes with each other and I am realy proud to have such great friends around here...Me to I miss OrganicMama and her sense of hummer...

Ahmad,every once in a while someone messes things up with low ratings. It has happened to alot of us and I try to ignore it because I enjoy the site so much. Guess they have nothing better to do. Be happy!

Message from my daughter to you all - What a caring network of friends. Please tell them all thank you so much.

Pat, thanks for keeping up the prayers, we probably won't know anything till tomorrow. When she called the lab yesterday about them, they told her usually it's a 24 hour turn over but it could take longer if they need to also do a frozen sample. The earliest her doctor could have the results would be late Wednesday but most likely it would be Thursday morning. I know she didn't sleep well last night because she sent me the message above to everyone here around 2 in the morning.

Hope everyone is doing good this morning, my prayers are still with everyone under the weather and those who need a special intention.

Thanks again everyone for keeping up those prayers for my daughter.

It's cloudy and rainy here in North Carolina.

Ahmed, some people just need to find something more constructive to do other than giving low ratings on recipes for no reason. Just ignore them.

Henrie I hope you hear good news about your daughter, you're in my prayers.

Ahmed........... we had a couple of people giving low ratings just to bother people awhile back, personally I can't imagine anyone giving you a low rating on any of your fantastic creations! Just forget them!

Pleclare......John did get to work safely, but forgot to call for half an hour so, of course...I freaked!

Ahmed, just shake it off,some people like to feel superior by belittling others. They don't amount to a hill of beans, infact the beans are worth something,while there not.

Hello all, Our weather here is getting aggravating. 60°F when I went to bed last night so no heat on but when I got up this morning the temp had dropped to 30°F. Now I am going to be freezing all day.

Pat my hubby's name is John also and when we have bad weather and he has to go to work I worry about him too. He was working in Jackson County Alabama when that tornado hit there last week. Thankfully for us it was on the other side of the county. Back in 1999 I was in the hospital and John was there with me. We were watching TV when a special bulletin came on about a gas explosion in Bridgeport,Alabama which is right where his plant is. I was so thankful John was there with me because if he had been at work there would have been some angry Drs because I would have left that hospital in a heart beat to go find out if he was OK. John was worried about all the people he worked with. It turned out it wasn't his plant, but it was several little stores in the main downtown part of Bridgeport. This is a tiny tiny little town so there wasn't very many people around that day but I think 2 men were killed.

Okay everyone, my daughter just left here, she got the news and it was not cancer, we all are so relieved. She ask me to be sure and let ya'll know right away and to thank you from the bottom of her heart for all the prayers and concerns.
