make cottage cheese at home by holding 1 cup of yoghurt in a muslin cloth and let the water drip out of it and what remains will be the fresh cottage cheese.

How long do you need to let the yoghurt drip and is it okay to leave it at room temperature or would you need to keep it refrigerated while it's dripping?
