I am new to the gardening thing, so my husband prepared a pot for me about a week ago filled w/ dirt, something I can't remember the name of, and chicken poop from a bag. I planted my strawberries in there today and there were tons of flies and little white worms in the dirt. I still planted them. Is that ok? Don't laugh at me...I'm learning! LOL!
