They also have a attachment you can get that goes on your garden hose that is a sensor.. it squirts them. I can not remember where I saw it, it looked like a goose.

I have several 4 by 12, raised beds for my square foot garden and they think these boxes were made just for them. I told my DH, we should make a sandbox just for them but he doesn't think they would use it.

Snails can be trapped with beer poured into a tuna tin submerged just at ground level. You can sprinkle salt on them and they will shrivel up and die. I spread wood ash around my plants , the silica in the ash is like shards of glass to the naked snails body an they do not like it. Michael
