This is my day off, and the Saturday that Bryan works...so...this is my day to have only dishes from Group Recipes taht I have not yeat tried for dinner! (That's a mouthful - gonna shorten the name!). I started this a few weeks ago, and try to do this everyother week when he is working. ANYWAY todays menu:

Hungarian Steak Casserole, Wynne
Spinach and Gorgonzola Cornbread, Ang
and something extremely chocolatey and easy for my exreme chocolate craving...still surfing for that one...let me know if you have ideas!

Sounds great! We are going for an early dinner to our favorite Italian place. Back here for dessert and flavored coffee later with a movie, The Brave One with Jodie foster.

We have another birthday party for a skating buddy, scheduled this afternoon. We'll be at the bowling alley, drinking suds and throwing gutter balls. Probably get some grouper sandwiches afterwards at Dockside Dave's.

Made an asparagus omelette for our lunch. Frizzled shallots and slivered ham on top. It was nice.

Not sure about tonight....DH is working an extra job, and Bratchild wants to go to the mall with his buddies....

I think I'm having fish tonight but I have to go see if he remembered to pick it up at Sam's ... and i'm going to have asparagus withe it ... he will get a potato...

Are you really having fish? Since we're away from home right now, we went fishing in a beautiful lake and caught a mess of crappie and bluegill. Had filets, rolled in a tasty breading and deep fried. Also had homemade sweet potato fries and sweet-dressing slaw. I ate the sweet cornbread for dessert! Also had iced chai tea....saved the tea bags for a later beauty treatment.
