Going to make baked breaded chicken strips soaked in the buttermilk/hot sauce. Green beans, cooked with a smoked turkey wing and onions. Sliced Ruskin tomatoes and momma's spoon bread. Something strawberry, haven't decided yet, as a sweet for my sweetie.

Hi nym, pleclare and diva, I'm making tnacndn's Hamburger Potato Casserole....adding onion and garlic to it, with rolls and a simple salad. Hubby and I are going to Barnes & Noble, the movies and then probably Olive Garden.....The Casserole is for the teens, for later snacking and for leftovers, tomorrow. Thank you tnacndn!!!

There WAS a 13x9 sized pan of that stuff here yesterday..."was" being the operative word there!! What I did with mine was wash & hull the strawberries, then I chopped 'em up in my mini chopper to go into the dish. Good stuff right there.
Oh hey!! Those 9 cheesecakes went over really well. I have to tell you what though....I am counting the days until I get a bigger kitchen with a double-wall-oven system, an extra freezer to go into the closet, and lots more prep room!!!! My little tiny kitchen pumps out some wonders, and some huge dinners for huge crowds, but it sure would be a heck of a lot easier with the above accoutrements!!
The people were impressed with the cheesecakes. I decorated the tops of them with stabilized whipped cream and either chocolate chips or chocolate covered coffee beans...so they were ready to serve, pre-sliced, and very very heavy cheesecakes. Let's just say that I went to Sam's and bought 30 pounds of cream cheese for 9 cheesecakes!!
NOTYO---You must do your chicken the way I do mine! Sounds wonderous! DIVA---I love corned beef hash!! Ohmigosh...love! RML---Anything TNACNDN puts on the table is divine. Good eatin we do down here! LECLARE---Girl, everything you put out there sounds wonderful! I love merlot anything, lol!
TONIGHT---It's either crockpot beef stew, or maybe some fried chicken breast some way...not sure yet. DH is still sleeping...(it's Sunday in Knoxville, y'all!!)
