I hope everybody's morning is off to a great start... I'm planning to sleep late... my husband has the day off...

It's 5:45 pm Monday evening here on a rainy day... the new grass that we planted is coming up nicely and this rain is making everything look so lush...

we are having an early dinner tonight since he couldn't eat for over 24 hours and he is hungry now!!!!

Was just reading Monday's thread. So nice to see some of you back again. Have missed you! Still missing a few though...How bout Wynne, sparrow and where is our dear friend henrie today. Hopefully all just busy. But don't have time to read all so maybe I have just missed a few.

Bob...so glad to have you back. Still need those gentle hugs!

Have a chapter 5, i think to post about the neighbor boy. Hopefully will get to that later tonight.

Still, rainy and a little raw here but they promise better weather for the next couple of days.

Bob, you're way ahead of me........I have nothing planted yet.......we can still have a frost until Memorial day, so I usually wait until mid to late May to put anything much in. I did see Swiss chard coming up from last year.....not only have I never had that happen before.........I can't believe it survived such a long, cold winter!

Aging backwards...........then we wouldn't have to say........"if I knew then, what I know now".....that would be something.....but then we wouldn't have the wonder of discovery!

Peeta.....I'm sure your hubby's about ready for a big breakfast.......can't get caught up from fasting on just one dinner!! :D

Kimmer, sorry GF, I thought I had checked in yesterday morning before I got busy outdoors, to my surprise I shocked myself last night when I came here to see how everyone was doing. Wow, waiting to hear Chapter 5, hope it's not been real stressful for you.

Peeta, you and your hubby are in my prayers, I know he will be happy to get a good hot meal again. Seems not being able to eat is when you really want something the worse.

Bob, good to see you here, prayers going out to you - hope you get your call early this morning.

Hope everyone is enjoying there day, cooler here this morning 54* but later it's suppose to be 76*

Oh Peeta, I want to thank you for sending us more rain yesterday, that was wonderful, everything looks so nice out front.

Prayers to those under the weather, in the hospital or recoverying at home from a hospital stay, and those in need of a special intention whatever it may be.

Peeta Good to hear your husband is home. Feeling hungry is a good sign.

Spring is so wonderful with all of the new growth. I have planted peas and will plant spinach and beans this week. Gardening is good for me it keeps me grounded.

We all have a lot to be thankful of...each other and our support for one another.

thank you everybody for you good thoughts and prayers... he seems fine today even though the doctor said he would be pretty sore... . he's eating up a storm!!!LOL... the waiting will be the hard part ... the doctor will have the result this week but we have to wait for his next appointment in 2 weeks !

it's still kind of raw here damp and cool... hopefully the sun will come out... the grass and leaves are really popping ... the lawn needs to be mowed to make it look nice...

Just wanted to let you all know this person is lowballing recipes and leaving immature nasty comments. Several members have been hit by this person and who ever this person is they haven't even been a member for 24 hours yet.

You can go to this person's home page and read how many people have been affected so far. I know Kris has been notified by some of the members already, hope he does something.
