Busy day of doctors and therapists...we are having leftovers, creamed ham and peas on biscuits. Sliced tomatoes with garlic.

What are your plans?

Super busy day of running and ripping with the Bratchild and hubby. Dinner tonight is hamburger helper and some turnip greens with salt pork and country ham that I froze about a month ago....love greens!

thinking about chicken somehow as I am preparing for a large homemade chinese dinner tomorrow with homemade potstickers... looking for recipe for them now, as I believe I have all the ingredients at hand...

I wish I could make meatloaf for my guy - he refuses to try any sort of meatloaf... and there are so many great recipes out there - yours btw sounds extra good- I like the added mushrooms!

Baked roundsteak with tomatoes and kidney beans (an old family recipe) and mashed potatoes. I think I will have a salad and grean beans to go along with it. Raining today, so it just calls for old fashion comfort food.

I too, have never heard of creamed ham and peas...NYM, do you have a recipe you can share???

I've literally got 2 minutes. I'll post creamed ham and peas for you later...just sub ham and pes for your favorite chicken ala king white sauce. Pinch of nutmeg, no salt depending on how salty the ham is. Sometimes add carrots, too depending on mood, tonight, no carrots, no mood to peel. I'm back out the door to work. Chat later, dearies.

Youngest has basketball tonight so it will be the usual Wednesday pizza and salad, prepare by daughter while we are gone!

I really wish I knew WHAT to make tonight, I haven't much of an appetite so it's kinda hard to firgure out what to feed starving hubby when he gets home....Can I pawn him off on one of you tonight?? LOL! You are all having amazing dinners...

I made a chuck roast with assorted veggies, with a thing gravy. We worked in the garden while it was cooking and he rushed in, cleaned up, wolfed down the food that I plated up and off to work. After I dropped him off, I came home and sat down to the computer with MY plate of food. It was delicious.
We planted more cruciferous plants today, along with 12 assorted variety egg plants. I can't wait for them to come on so I can start making GOOD egg plant parmesan sandwiches! I learned to make them from one of the deli owners and they are fantastic! I could eat vegitarian quite a bit if I had good food like that!....although it certainly would be hard to pass up good roast or delicious corned beef.
I will have a toasted tuna salad sandwich for a late supper this evening. (I made up a huge batch of tuna salad last night! YUMMM!!!)

well I ended up making chinese beef terriyaki with bok choy and homemade pot stickers... (will post pot stickers recipe tomorrow) came out really nice! Chicken will have to wait till tomorrow...
