Faux Taco salad...layer of tostitos, taco meat, salad, salsa, cheese, sour cream, jalapenos...more of a layered nacho taco plate than a salad.

Does that gross out the foodies who don't like their foods to touch? RML? my kid won't eat most anything that is mixed or is touching on the plate and yet she loves taco nachos? I don't get it.

Have a great day dears. The hair color is ready to get rinsed out and I have to get my ample behind to work. Hugs, miss chatting with all of you.

Good morning friends, I have a very busy day...son has a half day and his speech therapist and service coordinator are stopping by. Have to deliver letters to the neighbors in the association, take him to the doctor's and hubby has to leave for a meeting by 5:30. I think I will throw together a beef stew in the crockpot this morning, it's raining and dreary anyway.

wow you all have such busy lives...I have no excuse - nor any idea for what to serve tonight - maybe some shrimp stir fry - haven't tried that one yet. served up along with cilantro basmati rice and still looking for a cookie or maybe I might make blondies -

On my own for dinner tonight. I have some little bits of leftover stuff that I am going to combine into something wonderful just for me! LOL I have some spinach, artichoke hearts, fresh mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, and cheese, and some sour cream and tortillas that I plan to use...HMMMM...sounds like a veggie quesedilla to me...or some dip for homemade tortilla chips....

sparow - sounds delicious as I had a quesadilla last night - definitely go for that gal! the addition of artichoke hearts and mushrooms sounds dreamy!

Bratchild is off karate on Wednesdays---DH is home by 9:30, so I'm feeling like cooking up something good tonight.

I've been trying to clean out the den all day, only made a good dent in it though. Thought I'd take a quick break and check in here at GR, then got caught up in the crap slinging saga over in HEAT.

I think I'll make up some good spaghetti and sauce tonight, Panera's got some great foccacia on sale this afternoon, so I'm going to finish the den and head out hopefully!!

Since it is Wednesday once again, son has basketball and so it is pizza and salad with fresh fruit (strawberries, red and green grapes, canteloup, bananas) for dessert! Prepared by daughter.

Having Italian sausage with peppers and onions....roasted potatoes and sauteed yellow squash....

I used to do a part time thing at Panera bread for the 65% discount.....They have great stuff..Love their sourdough breadbowls for soups......Ah, the cinnamon crunch bagels....I can still smell them..

Oh, I'm in love with Panera bread bowls....so good with the normandy fish chowder. Now, I'll be craving that until I swing by and get some bowls to go. Sounds like a Friday night chowder night to me.

Those quesadillas sound like a great plan. Yummy.
