RE: whats the oldest recipe you own
It would have to be a Walnut Bread recipe written on a piece of paper that I found in my Grandmother's Bible after she passed away. Not sure how old it is but on the paper she said how well the kids loved it so it was in the early 1900's she would have starting making it.

My grand mothers turkey dressing took practice and we were supervised while making it.
It had a certain consistency before it went into the bird, and when it came out everyone would sneak some before it was brought to the table.
The day after we would make stuffing sandwiches with some turkey and cranberry sauce.
I will post the stuffing soon, it has ground pork and ground beef potatoes and bread and some herbs, the amounts are the secret key to success.
