I got our girls some teen heart throb stuff and one of the things was a puzzle of Andy Gibb. Their room was the whold upstairs of the house. I walked up the stairs one day and through the railings I saw and heard what was going on........ .........they were fighting over the chest hair of the Andy Gibb jigsaw puzzle! It's still funny. Anyway---found this place, and it took me a while to get acclimated to the site, chat in the groups, etc. People here have been so welcoming to me, and I've made some great foodie pals here!!

I wanted the original, classic version (which I FINALLY found), but some of the updated ones are fabulous....

On the first topic I found GR through my great SIL jaeleepoms.
On the second topic, I must say I'm not a fan of chest/back hair. My father could have been mistaken for Sasquatch. He was 6'4" and hairy from head to toe. Kinda scary! But he really was just a big teddy bear (literaly and figuratively)... Fortunately my DH isn't hairy

I guess I will have to weigh in on this.....
First concert....was one of the Dick Clark Caravan shows, way back when....can't remember exactly who was there, except for Gary Lewis and the Playboys.
The first REAL concert was Herman's Hermits, with the Animals as the warm-up band. OOOOHHHHHHHHHHH
You guys are too funny about the first stars you had crushes on.
This would have been between '82 and '84 or so.
Still smiling and shaking my head.

That's funny, piggies! I love that story about your girls.
Its so amusing to me how these threads meander. We started with a search for a chicken recipe and are now on a fight over Andy Gibb's chest hair! :-D

I'm not a fan of chest hair or back hair...but please don't tell my hubby.
He was a pole vaulter. One of his buddies told him that he should take off his sweater before competing.
He was a walking rug but as he gets older, the hair is not quite as thick.
I actually tried to comb his chest hair.....he didn't see the humor in that...:(

I like a little chest hair but not a rug. Fraid Phil's is all gray these days but still like it!

RML, LOL!!! That is so funny. Our daughters told my husband not to get to close to a velcro wall because he would be stuck forever.

LOL @ RML :)
I can't imagine WHY hubby didn't see the humour :)
Now to the question at hand.....Hmmmmmm; Not sure if I'm a fan of chest hair or not -- I guess that depends on who's chest it is on :)
But, Sean has some -- so, I think that makes me a fan instead of a fence-sitter :)

I remember being at my guy's mother's birthday party one year.....Somehow, and I won't say how, he got his shirt off, and we stuck balloons with double sided tape to his chest.....It was fun till they had to come off.....I guess you had to be there...:)

Oh my goodness, what a great thread!! I found GR because I was comparing 7 layer salads on the 'net.
I found Dugger's recipe for 7 layer salad while reading my cell phone. Something I do late at night when hubby's snoring...he wakes me up, so I flip open the cell and read the internet there!!
Anyway---found this place, and it took me a while to get acclimated to the site, chat in the groups, etc. People here have been so welcoming to me, and I've made some great foodie pals here!!
Love GR and glad to be here.

Hi, Gramma :) I miss a TON when I'm not here for a couple of days :)
Knox, I searched out 7-layer salads too, and also found Dugger's version. And -- in true form as I always do -- I ended up with about 10 different, equally good, 7- (or 9-) layer salad recipes!
I wanted the original, classic version (which I FINALLY found), but some of the updated ones are fabulous....

That's why I am a true believer that even if a recipe is posted, if there is a variation in yours, post it....I have looked for something and seen 6 recipes for that something and come up with what suits my families tastes....:)

You guys are hysterical! David C.. chest hair...
Hubby is not talking hair today... he had a shave before surgery... I told him how it was going to itch...
He had his cath today... found a small blockage on top... and a problem in the bottom.. they are wanting to go ahead with neck... soon. then do the heart.. These people are driving me crazy with there changing minds... They send U in a panic.. then say.. OK.. then start again with the "bi-pass" word... Dealing with them since the last of March.. and they are still "talking"....

I told my honey last night (he's away at the moment) that I shaved my legs and my back (just joking girls) its always a joke between us two (ok now the group) I joke he has more hair on his chest (than the top of his head) - though its not bad - as a younger gal, I preferred bare, not that I am older, I prefer one who can um... handle the fryer skillet, if you know what I mean...::wink wink - AND knows how to fry! lo
yeah leah , keep those spritzers of yours coming girl....ok ok I will

My son (8yrs at the time, now 9yrs) found it when he was searching for a S'more recipe for school. Found S'more Pops (forgive me I can't remember who's post it is, shame shame) Anyway he got me to join it.
Now onto better things...
Yes to chest hair!

How did we get from "how did you find GR" to "Chest/Back hair"?
On the first topic I found GR through my great SIL jaeleepoms.
On the second topic, I must say I'm not a fan of chest/back hair. My father could have been mistaken for Sasquatch. He was 6'4" and hairy from head to toe. Kinda scary! But he really was just a big teddy bear (literaly and figuratively)... Fortunately my DH isn't hairy
